Cheatham Lock Campground A

We are slowly making our way to Nashville. Today we enjoyed a late start leaving the Marina about 10:30. We went thru one more lock again all by ourselves. Not allot of traffic on the river. Tonight we are anchored off the main river at the USACE campground. It has easy access to shore via a boat ramp and access to the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail. Good shore access on this part of the river is tricky. There is a creek nearby that’s deep with a boat ramp but looking at Google no real good place for walking. And there’s another creek where the trail crosses over but we’re not certain we can actually get to it. Will check that out tomorrow. 31 miles today. Steaks soon to be on the grill.
