    Carrabelle day 7

    December 15, 2024 in the United States ⋅ ☁️ 66 °F

Today I saw my very first white squirrel!! Moki and I were walking this morning and there it was in a vacant lot This guy is not albino but rather leucitic… i.e., it’s a gray squirrel with a genetic mutation that results in reduced pigmentation. Still windy but half of the loopers left today to anchor out and hop tomorrow. We plan to be a day or two behind them as winds look more favorable Tuesday and Wednesday. Loaded up on groceries today and finishing up the laundry. We will leave here tomorrow and anchor out but we’re not going to be in a hurry as I have meetings …. We’ll both be happy to be on the hook. This place is nice but pricey.Read more
