    Manatee Springs

    Today we spent most of the day at Manatee Springs State Park. This is the slow season for the park and being a weekday it was pretty quiet. Not allot of manatee action given the high today was 76 but we saw a few and lots of wading birds. Moki and I hiked a trail but with the storm damage it was hard to follow. Tonight we are right around the corner from the SP at a FWC managed boat ramp. We’ve been hearing Barred owls but no sightings. 14 miles.Read more
