Local geologic feature

In 1925 the side of this hill gave way and avalanched into the valley - and a little up the other side (pic 2.) This landslide dammed the valley and made a lake. In pic 3 you can still see where the land is scooped away right and left. Some of the rocks here were very colorful from living things.En savoir plus
