I stopped for lunch at Glacier Village Restaurant in East Glacier Park Village, a town of 397.
The towns i have passed through run the gamut. As you'd expect there are some that were little more than a couple abandoned shacks at an intersection. Some, like Choteau, which is large enough to have a hospital and retirement community, were nice little communities with watered lawns and little ranch houses. Helena has this area with maybe 200 brand new houses at a foothill with brand new doctor's office building and other professional services. The architecture of the houses was really attractive, wish i got a pic. Weather is great again. At campsite expect high 80, low 50, and no humidity.Read more
