I've heard from multiple people that Sedona is really beautiful. The landscape is inspiring. In the north there is a road that goes into the mountains. Its much cooler, full of national forest campgrounds, trees, and great views. I think one thing that makes Sedona so attractive is very strict, well thought out zoning laws.
