Petrified Forest Park

Heres a state park on 12. Millions of years ago it was a forest. Sometimes the trees fell and were buried. Some time ago a nearby volcano erupted, adding tons of minerals to the soil. This madeBaca selengkapnya
Restaurant

This place was built in the 30s as a dance hall and gas pump. It was sold postwar to a family that made it a restaurant and added motel rooms soon after.
Bryce Canyon

Bryce was a guy. Canyon is incorrect, there isn't one. Its a part of "The Grand Staircase". These are 3 geological plateaus all related on a very large scale. Bryce is the highest elevation. Zion is aBaca selengkapnya
Bryce from the north end

I had the idea to take video while moving to see if it would help people understand better what I'm photographing.
Road to Zion

The road that connects to Zion from the east is stupendous. It was made in the 20s to dazzle visitors on their way to the new park (before it was a national park.) It runs along cliffs and throughBaca selengkapnya
Road videos 2

A ride with Dudley

This is Dudley the mule. I was lucky to get a last minute opening for a mule ride. Too bad it wasn't the longer ride down into the canyon.
Sedona

I've heard from multiple people that Sedona is really beautiful. The landscape is inspiring. In the north there is a road that goes into the mountains. Its much cooler, full of national forestBaca selengkapnya
New bridge in front of Hoover Dam

This is the brand new highway bridge. 4 lanes of semi traffic no longer have to wind down a canyon and over the top of the dam.
Hoover Dam

I like Art Deco buildings. I got to poke my head in Chrysler when I was working in Manhattan. Its an icon of art deco opulence. The last video is the neighborhood behind the hotel I used that day.
Red Rock Canyon

This is right outside vegas. Some federal department built a 13 mile road up to these mountains. Its a great ride and great views. Pic 6 is native american graffiti aka petroglyphs.

The system that keeps the camera from shaking works well. Makes it a pleasure to watch a moving video !
