A good number of people do the hike to Solitude. (Many passed me, me, many followed.) I stayed at the second pic for a while.

The way back was a whole new amazing since you were facing the other way and the light was opposite. However by like 15 miles i was done and wasn't looking any more.

So named for all the colors - not just the pools, but the pools, their runoff, minerals, the algae, the lichens, everything. This pool had a great blue.

The town is highly developed for tourism, seemingly exclusively. The two main roads are all Old Westy-like. Everything is immaculate. I drove through a subdivision and all the houses looked brand new.Читать далее

Weather this morning was different, 45 at dawn and frigidly clammy. This is what Grand Prismatic Spring looked like. I went back to the car and ate brunch. Then shampooed my seats.

The falls were very pretty. Watch out for the 5 pound extremely aggressive chipmunks! In the last pic can you see him laying in wait to see if the prey will come to him?
