San Pedro Hike to Chupani Ruins

Karina, my lovely Airbnb host in Pisac 😊 invited me on a San Pedro hike today.

San Pedro is a cactus 🌵 and the traditions related to the use of the San Pedro cactus in Peru are dated back more than 3,000 years. It's a very powerful master plant and it goes straight to the heart and avoids the defenses of the mind and the resistance of the ego.

Hiking up a valley surrounded by mountains, exploring the ruins while imagining how it was back then, when people actually lived there was a beautiful experience. Probably also because of the effect of the San Pedro :-D this hike was really heart opening and I felt very connected to nature and my inner child.Read more
