Titicaca Lake & Uros Floating Island

This weekend I’m heading to Puno to visit lake Titicaca. Often called the "highest navigable lake" in the world at 3812m above sea level. First stop was at the Uros floating island.

Approximately 1,200 Uros people still live on 62 artificial Lake Titicaca islands that are made entirely from totora reeds. Walking on the island is super smooth and bouncy 😂.Read more
