Late-night wander around the mighty Citadel of Belfort 🇫🇷
Crossing the old bridge and heading through this huge stone gateway felt like stepping back into another century. The fortress walls tower above you, the grass-covered ramparts glow under the lights, and everything goes eerily quiet apart from your own footsteps on the cobbles.
Belfort really knows how to do atmosphere at night. Proper old-school military engineering… built to impress and intimidate in equal measure. Vanilla parked up nearby, camera in hand, and another one of those “this is exactly why I’m doing this trip” moments. 🌍🚐📸Read more
