Leaving Lauterbrunnen

Leaving Lauterbrunnen felt a bit like driving out of a film set. 🚐🇨🇭

Vanilla parked beneath towering cliffs, waterfalls crashing down from impossible heights, snow still clinging to the mountains in the distance… it genuinely didn’t look real. One last stop for photos before rolling out of the valley and continuing the great NIX European Drift.

The clouds were hanging low, the air was fresh enough to wake the dead, and every few minutes another waterfall seemed to appear from nowhere. Switzerland really does know how to show off.

I’ve seen some amazing places already on this trip, but Lauterbrunnen absolutely hit differently. One of those rare locations where you just stand there quietly for a minute thinking… “how on earth is this an actual place?”

Vanilla looked right at home too, sat there in Indium Grey with the orange trim glowing against all that dramatic alpine scenery. Not a bad parking spot really. 😎📸Read more
