Bosnia Border Crossing

🚐🇧🇦 BORDER RUN INTO BOSNIA 🇧🇦🚐

Today’s drive brought one of those proper overland moments at the Neum border crossing. One minute I was cruising along the Croatian coast, the next I was pulling into passport control behind a few coaches and a police vehicle with the Adriatic glittering away beside the road.

The crossing itself was calm and surprisingly straightforward. Engines idling, passports ready, everyone waiting their turn in that slow-moving border queue atmosphere that somehow always makes a trip feel more adventurous. A quick check from the officials and then Vanilla was officially rolling into Bosnia & Herzegovina. 🌍

It’s only a small stretch of coastline, but it completely changes the feel of the drive. Different signs, different currency, different vibe… mountains rising behind the town while the sea sits quietly below the road.

Another border crossed. Another country added to the map. And another little “how on earth did I end up here?” moment for the European Drift tour. 🚐
