Just arrived and parked up at the campground near Plitvice Lakes National Park 🇭🇷🚐🌲
Tomorrow’s the plan… early doors start before the crowds descend with selfie sticks, flip-flops and international queueing techniques. 😄
I’ve genuinely been looking forward to this place ever since setting off from England. From everything I’ve seen, it looks absolutely unreal — turquoise lakes, crystal-clear water, massive waterfalls, wooden boardwalks and forests everywhere.
Tonight is a quieter one. Little bit of food, maybe a wander, and then an early night ready to get into the park nice and early while the lakes are calm and peaceful.
Apparently the water is so clear it looks fake, and every corner is another postcard view. Knowing me there’ll probably be hundreds of photos, lots of unnecessary panoramic shots, and several moments standing there with a coffee thinking “this is exactly why I drove Vanilla all the way across Europe.” 🌍💦📸
