From the first glance it might look like heaps of sand and stone but... But it's home to the earliest written words in human history, kingdom of Gilgamesh - whose lifestory is described in the very first book of humankind, land of first gods and not to mention - the first city after the flood.
Getting to this place took a bit of efforts - convincing my travel friends that we might make it despite everyone saying that we can't go, smuggling me through numerous check-points, getting to the site without any official permission.
