    Heathrow Airport, London, UK

    March 27, 2015 in England ⋅ ⛅ 9 °C

Aah, Heathrow Airport. Busy, pain in the neck with a bunch of rude ass people everywhere. I forgot to take out the 1/3 bottle of water from my carry on, so the security guy flagged it for hand search. FFS. -___-
The highlight of the Heathrow trips used to be the Starbucks cafe, where I could buy these amazingly tasty marmite and cheese sandwiches. Crispy sourdough roll, with warm gooey melted cheese and marmite mix. All gone. :(
With British Airways steadily declining service, I am not sure I will want to fly with them so faithfully anymore. They used to give out warm towels in the morning so at least one could freshen up a little after being a sardine for hours, but now, it is apparently too much of a cost issue. I rather that they take away the limp, unedible croissants they pass for breakfast and give back my warm, moist, comforting towel.

So fast forward 3 hours, comes the time to board the plane to Hungary. Again the flight is full and they completely randomly made people check in their carry on, lucky fucking me again. (for being too big, which is bs, because it fit in their sizer box and was not any bigger than some of the completely full backpacks that they let on). Good thing I put all the breakable present into my carry-on, right? GG British Airways.
So travel tip to anyone, dont travel to Budapest on a Friday, when all the people who work there go home for the weekend... or dont bring a small carry on bag, but make sure you stuff your backpack to the fullest.

I know I sound like a total crank, but being up for about the 30th hour at this point, did nothing to help me see things in a more rosier color.
