Leon - another train journey

We enjoyed our rest day in Leon - we checked into Hotel Real Colegiata San Isidoro (very nice, great breakfast), did our laundry and wandered around the old town. We had FANTASTIC pizza at Pizzeria la Competencia - highly recommended!

We're at the train station now, waiting for the train to Oviedo. We've opted for a slow train that meanders along a scenic route. It seems to follow parts of the Camino del Salvador.Read more
