Today was a magical day. High above the clouds we went. With views so spectacular, no picture can capture it. We went many meters down to cross a dam over a small river and then back up again.

We had some rain but the clouds, the lighting that it gave us made up for the wet clothes.
Getting closer and closer

We are now really getting close to Santiago.. Here in Galicia they mark every so many meters with a sign of the distance and the last one we saw said 123km and some meters. But the views here stillLue lisää

Today we arrived in Lugo. We are now officially only 100km away from our destination Santiago de Compostela. It's a big milestone for us. Probably in 4 days we will arrive there. Much earlier thanLue lisää
Lugo

After we refreshed ourselves it was time to get into the beautiful town of Lugo. It's a well preserved medieval town with walls around it. We had a nice dinner in good company.

Via some old Roman roads and bridges we left the city of Lugo for the last 100km towards Santiago. It's been a pleasant day. We close off this day at an albergue run by a dutch couple. Tomorrow weLue lisää

Today we passed Melide. A nice town at 45k from Santiago. But it's also the town where the Camino Frances joins the Camino Primitivo. So as of today we are in large crowds of Pellegrino's. It's aLue lisää

Almost there

After two days of 30+ km we are now only 10 kilometers away from Santiago de Compostela. We enjoyed walking with our Camino friends and will now take a deserved rest.
