Day 4 - Maddy's House

We decided to take a look at the Kananook Creek walk this morning which is a 7.5km walk along the creek and then through Kananook reserve. It started from the Frankston pier and ended the other side of Seaford. The walk started really nice along the creek however the reserve resembled more a wasteland than some of the beautiful places we've walked. We also spotted a suspect looking brown snake so were on high alert, scared we were going to step on one. In the end we decided to take a detour through to the beach and slowly strolled back trying to avoid all the squidgy looking jellies on the shoreline. The walk back took us back past the trusty Beach Nook again so we stopped for another smoothie. It was a tad windy though so rather than sit we walked with them back past the pier and to the car.

We popped back to the house for a cuppa before we needed to collect Maddy from work. In the evening, I cooked up a nice beef chilli and we had a nice family meal with Maddy and her housemate Paula, followed by red wine and a movie.Read more
