Heading to Anchorage

Hopped on a red eye to go visit University of Alaska Anchorage to visit their air traffic control program.

It was rainy but we very much enjoyed this walk after our long flight.

Beluga Point

Nathan and Angie took us out to Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet. Hope is just across the way, but over an hour around the inlet!

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

Beautiful place and so fun to see all of the animals. Very muddy and wet, but worth it.

Cook Inlet

Check out that blue glacier melt water! I had to stop myself from constantly stopping to take pics or we'd never have gotten home. Alaska is truly spectacular.

This little beach is right behind the airport. No moose, but some pretty cool rocks. Bonus: airplanes!
