So we've now farewelled the Mustang. Our buyer was very excited to get her and is looking forward to driving her home to Gore. It was easier for us knowing that she's gone to a good home.
While we were in Ngongataha we caught up with a couple of friends. We cooked in the caravan for Bruce and Philippa, and visited Pauline and Graham. The one thing we do miss about being on the road is seeing our friends and family so we're always happy to catch up when we can.
Our next move was to Horahora domain on the banks of Lake Karapiro. It's a very quiet little spot but quite popular so we met a few others and had a happy hour with some of them. And that's one of the good things about being gypsies. We stayed 2 nights.
We left there on Friday and meandered our way across some less travelled roads through the beautiful springtime Waikato to Onewhero domain, near Tuakau. Just 1 night there and then on to Auckland, staying at Ardmore Airport which is one of our favs.
Today we've been at Vicki and Vinnie's for brunch to celebrate Vicki's birthday early and Father's day so Kelly, Tara and Maia were there- just how grandma likes it. All the grandies and their parents.
Looking forward to another 10 days here so plenty of catching up to be done!
