Asiatique The Riverfront

Back to our Hostel we did some search for a night market and found Asiatique as a nice place to visit. The first Taxi driver wanted to charged us a fixed price of 450 baht so we changed the taxi. The second driver offered us 200 baht. Still too much as we found out later.

The Asiatique is a nice night market embedded into a modern looking building complex. Nevertheless the prices were good and the food was affordable. From there we walked along the river and watched people hanging out. Our taxi back to the hostel was only 85 Baht... so now we know how the prices are:
35 Baht as start amount and around 5 Baht per Kilometer.Read more
