    ¡Montaña otra vez!

    Hey there, world! Very good day today! I'm now in the mountains again! Well, if we can speak about mountains, actually it's more like hills as it's not going much higher than 4-5 hundreds high but still, the scenery is much more beautiful! 😊 I'm definitely more of a mountain guy than a sea guy... I found some food in a trash, today, junk food really, see the pic below and one month passed the date but still it's food! And the KitKat's are still within consuming date, it's just because they are with those chocolate croissants. Those are not quite fresh but I guess I'll fry them and they'll be ok! 😁 What's more? I got to meet some people that were celebrating a birthday and got invited to eat some cake with them! I just went too ask for an Alen key to screw tighter my trailer, as I apparently have to do every few hundreds K's and ended up being given this key! That was nice to be able to practice once more my spanish, even though they're speaking valenciano! 😁 I know all this doesn't sound that nice, in essence, but, Ah! it actually is as all small things in our life should be celebrated!!! I don't know if I really had to live like this to be able to appreciate more little things, but anyways, now I do!!😁😉 Enjoy life! LOVE ☮️🕉️☯️♾️Weiterlesen

    Surpassing my limits!

    "Today" is most likely the word I've used the most using this app! And it's certainly not gonna stop today!! 🤣🤣 Okay so today, I decided to surpass my limits! I took a mountain rocky path! The point was that I kind of messed up my road planification and ended up in a "road dead end" so I had the choice to go back towards the coast (nooo not backwards!), take another small road through the mountains or take this path. The coast way would have been something like 20 to 25 Km detour plus going back, which is the worst! The small road would have taken me through very small villages in which I would probably not have had the opportunity to make any money... Not good as the mountain is what alz the more energy and being constantly broke and low on food that would have meant my death! (Maybe overreacting a bit though...) And lastly there was this path I knew I wouldn't like but only 2,6Km or so... So thinking of the manga "Black Clover" I decided to take this path anyways and surpass my limits!! That was a expected. Horrible. I realized I was wrong though, I thought my carrier was not conceived to take those mountain paths, it's the opposite, actually! I realized it's conceived NOT TO take mountain paths!! 🤣🤣🤣 Anyways it was really rewarding, in the end because as soon as I arrived on the other side (fucking hateful) and went down to the small village to fill my water, I started to speak with an old local there then started joking around explaining the way then speaking about city life and stuff... Made me forget all the bad side of life! 😁 Then I went down to a city to play some, made quite a good session, and got able to buy luxury stuff (chorizo AND cheese!!!). Now I'm up in the mountain again decided to stop here in this camping project, so I can make it official! 😂😁😂 Super nice view, btw...Weiterlesen

    Hey people! So I'm down near Sea level again! Not to get stuck like last time I crossed a big coastal city, I decided to stop before it, this time. When I realized it was 4pm and I wasn't by the sea yet, I decided to stop at the first possible spot... So here I am! It's quite close to the road, but thanks to the trees it's quite hidden and as it's a fast road, people never look around! Pedestrians watch the ground and cars check the other cars. And there is no trash around my spot so it means nearly nobody ever come here (Spanish people can't seem to go somewhere without leaving many inorganic stuff)!
    It's really hot now, down here! Days are still getting shorter but temperature's getting higher and higher! Veeeery good! I think I might slow down a bit tomorrow to maybe take a dip in the sea and take time to charge my battery which never really have time to do it by itself while walking... I'll decide tomorrow...
    Oh yeah btw, I passed a pharmacy which is offering big discounts for black Friday!!!! I was quite surprised to see even pharmacies do that!!! Well... It sure is nice to see they do all they can for people to get better...🤮

    Hello world! There ain't gonna be any campsite pic today, because I'm not gonna camp!! I stopped at a small beach on the way to wash and take time to charge batteries as planned yesterday, then I checked nearby helpx hosts. The first one I called said they won't be able to accept me as a helper but offered me to stay at their place for the night! They won't be available before 8:30 though, so here I am, waiting on a small park close by... I think I'll take some time to check other hosts further away as it's now warm enough, I don't need to rush south anymore, and some socialization will be welcome!! 😁Weiterlesen

    Wow that was quite a pause! I left La Mesquita this morning, after a 10 days stay! Initially it was only for one night then probing and improvising it became 10 days! And I even left the place after my host, Sanson who left for a retreat 2 days ago! 😁 That was quite the nice stay, there! Nice music, nice people, nice energies,... And a shelter during the 4 days of rain! 🥳😃👍 So, this morning onwards, I'm on the road again and I can feel the pause, I've got quite tired legs! The goal now is to reach another Helpx place around 40Km from here... To stay again maybe up to 2 weeks! The point is to enjoy a bit the heat of this region and also to socialize more! I crave communal experiences!! 😁Weiterlesen

    Big detour today as my only chance to stop busking before the siesta was in Elche, a big city... As expected it didn't work well, as always in big cities... But well, anyways I didn't need to rush as my future host asked me not to arrive too early tomorrow. I'm now at 17Km from my destination. Means I should arrive there in the afternoon...Weiterlesen

    Okay now is time to move again, or rather on the next moon! After two weeks that went by very quick, thanks to the routine, I feel like moving again! It's not that it's not nice, here (actually the weather is apparently the nicest I'll see in Continental Europe) but it's too isolated and I miss movement and people! This area is a retired English place, not very party-like... This is no Spain, it's an illusion! 🤣🤣 So let's hit the road, again and find people!Weiterlesen

    A roof for the night...

    This morning, I found my tent completely wet due to the heavy dew... Shitty tent as it is the inside layer was drenched also... So I decided to stop in this old farm, an half ruin, really but it should provide the protection my tent did not and dry it at the same time!

    Today was a half-half kind of day. I didn't want to wake up, at first, I think I didn't sleep very well because of the humidity, and I felt pretty down with a bit of a headache... Then stopping to play music outside a Lidl art midday I got my smile back up! Thanks to the music!

    I think I found what looks to be the best way of playing in the street. I put my phone on top of my bass, just under my face, with some music playing, and I play on top of it an improvised accompaniment. This way works well as I can be quite loud, which is important to attract attention, and I can forget myself in the music, enjoying what I do and not paying attention if people likes it or not (which can be very frustrating if I don't feel they do).
    So it gets even more in the idea of improving myself, rather than making money... Which always comes eventually especially if I'm into it, because if I enjoy what i do the people gives more, which gives me a nice feedback, which makes me enjoy more, which makes people give more,... See it goes in loop! 😁
    And I really feel that I improved a lot since I started my journey so it's 👍👍👍!!!

    Let's see where this is gonna lead me! 😊

    Nice road today... But that does it! I'm sick of this wheeler! All the best looking places I see, I have to avoid or to give enormous effort to see it!! There were two nice places like these I couldn't go today, and had to stick to the road instead, resulting in big detours that messed my calculations so I couldn't play music either! That does it! I'm gonna get rid of it! My mind's set! If you ever want to get an easier way of carrying your backpack DON'T EVER choose radical designs!Weiterlesen

    So I decided to go back to the first helpx place to have an address to have my backpack sent. I might as well stay there for a while, waiting for the days to get longer and the weather to get better... It's the warmest place of Spain, after all... I'll see... I don't need to get anywhere anymore, actually! At first I had to rush south to keep warm and for that, the trailer was kind of useful, but now I can just enjoy the life where I am and just bother about what I feel like doing! So I'll get back to that place where I have a friend, already! I need to analyze that feeling of always wanting to move, always wanting to discover other things as if I couldn't enjoy fully what is around and always should find better further on... I think it's due to some kind of fear... I'll work on that! 😊

    Oh yes! I found myself a nice small shelter, again tonight. It's nice not to have to build the tent or the tarp!

    Oh and I did a bit of hitch-hike also, today! Again the trailer is really NOT practical for it but that's okay, I'll see it off soon, anyways!

    Very tired again today. I got a new blister at the sole of my foot, so I kept walking awkwardly and now my whole leg hurt! So the mood is not very high and I regret getting rid of my tent and keeping the tarp as I had troubles finding a nice place to pitch it... Hopefully I'm feeling less moody tomorrow...Weiterlesen
