Surpassing my limits!

"Today" is most likely the word I've used the most using this app! And it's certainly not gonna stop today!! 🤣🤣 Okay so today, I decided to surpass my limits! I took a mountain rocky path! The point was that I kind of messed up my road planification and ended up in a "road dead end" so I had the choice to go back towards the coast (nooo not backwards!), take another small road through the mountains or take this path. The coast way would have been something like 20 to 25 Km detour plus going back, which is the worst! The small road would have taken me through very small villages in which I would probably not have had the opportunity to make any money... Not good as the mountain is what alz the more energy and being constantly broke and low on food that would have meant my death! (Maybe overreacting a bit though...) And lastly there was this path I knew I wouldn't like but only 2,6Km or so... So thinking of the manga "Black Clover" I decided to take this path anyways and surpass my limits!! That was a expected. Horrible. I realized I was wrong though, I thought my carrier was not conceived to take those mountain paths, it's the opposite, actually! I realized it's conceived NOT TO take mountain paths!! 🤣🤣🤣 Anyways it was really rewarding, in the end because as soon as I arrived on the other side (fucking hateful) and went down to the small village to fill my water, I started to speak with an old local there then started joking around explaining the way then speaking about city life and stuff... Made me forget all the bad side of life! 😁 Then I went down to a city to play some, made quite a good session, and got able to buy luxury stuff (chorizo AND cheese!!!). Now I'm up in the mountain again decided to stop here in this camping project, so I can make it official! 😂😁😂 Super nice view, btw...もっと詳しく

Hey there, world! Very good day today! I'm now in the mountains again! Well, if we can speak about mountains, actually it's more like hills as it's not going much higher than 4-5 hundreds high but still, the scenery is much more beautiful! 😊 I'm definitely more of a mountain guy than a sea guy... I found some food in a trash, today, junk food really, see the pic below and one month passed the date but still it's food! And the KitKat's are still within consuming date, it's just because they are with those chocolate croissants. Those are not quite fresh but I guess I'll fry them and they'll be ok! 😁 What's more? I got to meet some people that were celebrating a birthday and got invited to eat some cake with them! I just went too ask for an Alen key to screw tighter my trailer, as I apparently have to do every few hundreds K's and ended up being given this key! That was nice to be able to practice once more my spanish, even though they're speaking valenciano! 😁 I know all this doesn't sound that nice, in essence, but, Ah! it actually is as all small things in our life should be celebrated!!! I don't know if I really had to live like this to be able to appreciate more little things, but anyways, now I do!!😁😉 Enjoy life! LOVE ☮️🕉️☯️♾️もっと詳しく

Wow look at this nice spot I found!! It's like a private room with a terrasse !! I'll even be able to make fire as it's on the other side of the highway and as I'll sleep inside the tunnel, the wind and most of all the sound of the highway are gonna be muffled! It's back in the mountains, now I left the Camino de Santiago, again as it was only taking me to the ugliest places and went through the very nice valley where I could see varieties of plants! After so long seeing mostly orchards, it was veeeery nice! 😁😁 Last pic is the path I think I'll be taking the next couple days to avoid the peak of the coast and see more mountain. Of course, you'll be able to see it for real on this app's map as well but maybe, this way you'll be able to see also if I change direction! 😆😆もっと詳しく

Hello people! It's raining today! Thankfully, it started only late afternoon. When it started, I took the time to put my train protection just for some drops, then looked for a hidden place to camp. I found it around 3.30pm then nearly as soon as I finished setting the tarp and hid under, some real reason started! Today I walked a lot to be able to go through Valencia! I had the choice to go through it or around and decided to go through the center to see what it's like... Wow que locura! Montón de turistas en el centro y montón de gente tocando música o pidiendo de una manera o una otra!! I didn't feel at all like being part of it, even though it might have gotten me quite rich... So I hurried through and stopped near a supermercado to juggle a bit, and be away from it before sunset. Well the center itself is quite nice if you can ignore the masses but as soon as you quit it, it is as all big cities are: tall, ugly buildings with grey people looking no farther than their feet... First juggling day!

Today I made some money juggling! I played bass, for a while with some music from my phone then decided to try with the balls and ended up making 1,7€ more, that way! And it's actually quite nice because, to be frank, I know the bass doesn't sound very loud so it's kind of a "false show" so with the balls, I make a show that people can enjoy for real! I think I'll keep on using both methods... And hopefully I'll get much better at juggling! 🤣🤣もっと詳しく

New tent!

Okay I made a decision last night, it was to try and make enough money today to buy a new tent... The point was to have a closed space again because it means more heat and less mosquitoes, mostly. The cheapest one at decathlon is 20€ and is still bigger than the one I had at the beginning (and left at Denis' father back in Carcassonne) cause it was an only one person tent. So I went to a (suuuuper) big city with the idea of playing non stop till 2pm, the time when the streets starts to empty and see if I could make the money needed. Not sure yet if I was gonna buy this new tent, I had only 3€ in my pockets.
Around 3Km before reaching the center, I heard a voice behind me, calling, staring above my shoulder, I saw an old lady nearly running towards me telling me to stop. Not knowing what was her problem I went towards her and,... She actually have me a 10€ note saying something I understood it was like a legacy from someone who asked her to give money to people in need!! Also, just before 2pm I kind of lost hope to make enough money (the people in that city were looking very rich but apparently had no money, or not enough to give, anyways) a very nice girl gave me the 3€ I was missing to have exactly the 20€, with a very warm, cute smile! So thanks to that, long story short: I have now a new shitty tent and no more money in my pockets!! 😁もっと詳しく

Today I made the worst busking session! 1,10€ for one hour! Then now while putting the tarp, I spoke to a local that explained to me that the city is now only with locals who lives there all year long as opposite of during the season when there are too many tourists with many people playing in the streets, so this explained that, they are kind of bored and overly used to people playing! Hopefully I'll make a bit more the next days... Anyways, I'm now in a super nice natural reserve with signs saying camping prohibited everywhere! I guess it's the upside of not being here during the season as it's not "actively" prohibited now! 😁もっと詳しく

Today I encountered a pilgrim in Amposta! A Polish guy that spent the last 8 month walking in Spain! But now he's going back up north to Poland... Anyways we spent nearly an hour speaking together about this and that... Before I decided to keep on going to find a spot before sunset... And here I am! In this magical site which is a bit like a swamp but with hard ground and big cracks in it through which we can see water at some places! The round clearings you can see on the map are observation spots where it's been half dug to reveal the water! It's very nice indeed but at the time I'm writing those lines, it's dusk, so "mosquito time" and I'm being harassed by them!😁 I'm gonna spend the night here and tomorrow I'll reach Mediterranean Sea at last! I can already really feel the proximity of it but couldn't catch a glimpse of it as of yet...もっと詳しく

So apparently I missed Catalonia so much I had to come back! Good idea, it's already less cold and windy (besides this fucking place, Almatret, they build on top of a mountain where there was fucking strong freezing wind!!). Today I "improved" my trailer which, I realized, is not that well conceived if you want to go somewhere else than the ever-flat Holland! I had nothing to do it so I did it with local tools (i.e. big stones! 😁). See in the pics. The point is that too go up, the best is to lower the "arms" at max cap, but if so it's hitting my legs every step!! So thanks to this "improvement" I really enjoyed a very nice mountain walk, today!!もっと詳しく

Hi people! Early stop again today as I was quite tired and decided to stop at the first nice spot I found. 5 mins later, I saw this bunker, historical site very inviting! Yeah, yeah, I know, it's war related, bad energies, blah blah blah... Well... Know what? If I have nightmares or sleep bad, I'll tell you guys and never do it again! But for now I'm very happy to have found a nice chilled place windproof, rainproof and I don't even have to pull the tarp!! Today, a bit before night time, I crossed one of the biggest Spanish city of my trip, Balaguer. Horrible place! Real city life where people are used not to be happy! Today was again "flat" enough to take tracks and side roads. I still took the national road for a while, then got stuck because of a tunnel so had to go back to a track up the mountain to avoid it. It was so pleasant not to be along a crazy fast road, that when I reached it again, I decided to quit it and went all the way up to this nearly abandoned village of Guardiola where I'm now writing you those lines. Tomorrow, I'll reach the plains again so I'll have a wider choice of path to take!
There's also something I discovered that is not so nice to be alone, it's that I go to sleep very early and then at some point, well before sunrise, I wake up and cannot sleep anymore! I'll have to find a way to keep busy at night because I definitely don't want to start the day in the dark!もっと詳しく

Early stop today as I found a super nice spot for camping, making the laundry and safe fire. I'm also proud to announce I did two achievements today as first, I made some money busking next to a church; it was quite difficult to make it before even though I was meaning to do it because of siesta time here in Spain where all streets are empty, but today I managed to reach a town before 2pm and made 5€ in half an hour. Second achievement is I passed the point where I turned around and gave up some years ago when I wanted to reach Andalucía hitchhiking! I recognized the bus stop and the bar where I stopped, back then and made the decision to give up! Victory!! 😁もっと詳しく

Wow that's a really nice place to stop. Are you having any trouble with camping in Spain? I hear they're not to fond of wild camping.
