Today we saw 4 of them

Lions
Hippos
Elephants
Rhino

No leopards yet.

We also got to witness a slice of Africa.

A Serval stalked and captured a Flamingo. As it rushed its prey back to shore, a group of three Jackals attacked and stole the Flamingo. Within 2 minutes they had ripped the Flamingo to pieces and devoured it, feathers, feet & all. Meanwhile the Serval stood off at a short distance and watched her hard hunting work be devoured. A really beautiful looking cat.

It was quite a sight. We were 50 meters away.

The rest of the day was just a parade of wild animals and a very wonderful “bush” lunch.
