I took a half day cooking course with Thai Farm Cookery school. I had a great time and cooked some lovely food which was delicious!
Doi Inthanon National Park

Took the new high speed train from Luang Prabang down to Vang Vieng. The train ride was comfortable but it's a faff buying tickets and the security is worse than an airport!

Clearly the most developed city I've seen in Laos, but there is not really a great deal to see or do here.
Phnom Penh

Spent three nights in Phnom Penh and had a great time. I really liked the city. It's quite well developed with modern high rise buildings and services, but felt open and less oppressive than Bangkok. Czytaj więcej
Siem Reap

Siem Reap is the main stop off point for access to the Angkor Archeological Park which contains the famous Angkor Wat temple.

From Kuala Lumpur I took the bus down south to check out the UNESCO World Heritage town of Malacca.

After Malacca I had a quick stop in Kuala Lumpur before getting the bus up to Penang.
Like Malacca, George Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is considerably larger than Malacca.

Nha Trang

Next stop in Vietnam is Nha Trang, a well developed seaside resort on the South Eastern coast.
The city, although not particularly picturesque, is quite relaxed and has some nice beaches.

As I work my way North through Vietnam, my next stop is Da Nang.
