Middle of nowhere

Murpheys law, In the morning I went to check out the kite spot and no kiters and a little wind, but tricky, so I decidedbto go to one of thr mos windy spots in Argentina, San Juan. A hefty 700km or so. Off I went. I saw many lanscapes and had various pit stops to shop local delicacies. No turtles this time but many sheep furs. In any case after going through a mountain ranges it was full blown steppe. Reminded me of the Serengeti somewhat. I drove some 100km without any village whatsoever. I headed for something on the border of a park but when I arrived at 19:00 it was closed, nobody there. So I decided to head for the next village 50km down the road.
