Today Pieterje was repaired with a new belt to keep the batery charged. So I drove inndirection of Monte Hermoso, 500km drive. The biggest notable change in landscape was the appearance of agriculture and fields with cows grazing. Seems I am definitily getting closer to civilisation. Any case after getting close the battery light started burning again, I dont think the belt worked out. Need a proper mecanic to look at it. Anyway, I picked up a19 year old hitchiker and we ended up at the same camping where I met his mother and his girlfriend. We went for a sondowner beach experience. All of Argentina is having a long Carnaval weekend so it was packed with people. Now I need to repair the camper again. Seems the alternator, water pump and campbelt to be achilles heel of pietertje. Hopefully will find a permanent solution. Anyway, happy to have made it to my destination.Read more
