It's great fun eating dinner and then trying to find your way back to the hotel after dark. Great adventure, though. It was a day of more than 22,000 steps. Who's counting, though? So many bridges!

Cruising the day and night away

We are cruising all day and night on our way to Naples. It was a relaxing day spent on the deck by the pool reading and maybe sipping a glass of 🍷. 😜

Also, we caught a glimpse Iddu volcano on Stromboli Island erupting. This volcano has been continuously erupting for over 2,000 years.Read more

Arrived in Naples. We did a tour of the underground tunnels -- very interesting. The pictures depict how life was like for people living in the tunnels during and after World War II.

We are in Citivecchia, Italy. We opted out of touring Rome today and decided to check out this this sweet port city, and we're glad we did. It's more fun because they don't speak a lot of English! We came upon a man with a fresh catch of octopus. He was fishing for a nearby restaurant.

When the guys in the group found out there was rhubarb for dessert at another restaurant, we headed there for a second course of dessert.(Not me, though!)Read more

Visited Les Baux-de-Provence as part of the Footsteps of Vincent van Gogh tour. We didn't actually spend any time in Marseille. We went about an hour away and had a wonderful time.

Docked in Barcelona today. Went on a bus tour of some of the highlights. Saw several Gaudi structures. Oh my goodness. Amazing!

Tomorrow, we disembark and head to a hotel for a couple of nights. Stay tuned for more adventures.
