    Out on the town

    Wednesday, we went to LaBelle Winery and tasted a variety of wines. Many were very good. The grapes are either grown here in Amherst, NH or west coast. If imported, the grapes are picked and crushed before transporting. Blueberries are also used in these wines.

    (Not pictured) In the evening, we went to The Goat for line dancing with Jenn's sister and her mom. SO MUCH FUN! I totally need to find something like that back home.    Read more

    Rain doesn't ruin the fun

    Thursday was a rainy day. We didn't the rain halt the fun.
    We watched Friends from College, ran to the grocery store for frosting, and went to the Outlets. After lunch, we went to Hop Knot for some really good homemade pretzels- smores one pictured.
    In the evening, we made sugar cookies, drank wine (from the winery we went to), and had a dance party. Super fun evening!    Read more

    Deerfield Fair

    Friday, the weather was beautiful. We headed to Deerfield Fair. It was a blast. We went with Jenn's sister-in-law and nephews. We saw all the animals, passed all the food vendors (I only succumbed to the apple crisp 🤌), and viewed some arts & crafts.
    The rest of the day was chill, finishing Friends from College, starting Nobody Wants This.
    I stupidly I stayed up till 11:30 to finish a book. It was too good to wait.    Read more

    One last stop

    One of the reasons I went to grad school in MA and then met one of my best friends up here was because I had family here. We drove by my grandmother's house (which now belongs to a cousin) and stopped by the cemetery.Read more
