Fort Bridger & Campground

This was another short stop. The Fort Bridger campground had nice grassy areas to park the campers and a very nice pavilion area for our full group to have a burger dinner together.

The historic fort area had lots of restored buildings. My favorite was actually not the fort but a set of preserved roadside cabins known as the Black and Orange Garage Camp Cabins. They were built here along the original Lincoln Highway.

Finally, this is a very dark sky area. So we stayed up late last night and created a short milky way timelapse. I actually just left the camera outside for an hour or two, set an alarm to hop out and put it away.Read more
