Trillium Lake

Just a few miles from Mount Hood and our campsite lies Trillium Lake. It's a beautiful man-made 65-acre reservoir created in 1960 by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Lot's of folks were enjoying the rental kayaks and even swimming?!? We decided to simply enjoy the cool afternoon and walk the 2 mile loop trail. We (or I) may be back for an early morning visit to try and capture a glass like surface closer to sunrise.Read more
