    Annual Region 5 Airstream Rally

    We had two very short days at home before heading out again! That’s just enough time to do laundry, wash the rig and get dinner a couple times with Rachel & Jacob!

    We signed up for a couple Airstream rallies before we knew we were going to Oregon. Had to cancel one in Madison, Indiana but this one worked out just right.

    There’s about 60 folks here from all around the Midwest and we’re looking forward to making some more new friends. Tonight’s a meet n greet then at some point we’ll get a tour of a couple horse farms.

    Lexington bills itself as the thoroughbred horse capital of the world and who am I to argue?

    Our campground is part of the Kentucky Horse Park property and we spent a few hours walking through barns and around paddocks with some mighty successful horses and many up and comers.

    We enjoyed the park next door’s multitude of competition arenas for all kinds of horsey stuff.

    We saw a bunch of retired horses and Jackie got to feed the 40 million dollar horse “War Emblem”!    Read more
