Springside Park

Still sorting out nerves, the van, and what to do with ourselves, we spent most of the day here in Springside Park. It was listed as a potential overnight spot on IOverlander, and I wanted to check it out. We didn't sleep here, but it was a fantastic spot to spend the day.

We enjoyed a lot of people watching, took a little walk along the rapids, and tidied and rearranged some things in the van. We were able to enjoy the shade on one side for most of the day, and then moved to the other side late afternoon.

It was all fun and games until Gilligan decided he'd rather be on the roof. Bad bird. Catching him isn't the problem - he's not really going anywhere. The problem is he opens the screens for Squidward, who still isn't hand tamed. I played a bit with the screens, but haven't found a workable solution just yet.
