Day 6 - Skeleton Coast Reserve

We stopped at the petrified forest reserve. Quite expensive for what it is, but the money goes to the village, and considering their level of isolation, I hope everyone stops there on their way. Then we took the road to cross the Skeleton Coast reserve. So many things to see on the way! We decided not to go to Torra Bay, because we couldn't camp there during this season. Crossing is free as long as you don't go to Torra. Stopped at Cape Cross, but the seal reserve was closed already. We got a chance to see some at the beach.
Night in Swakopmund to try to visit Sandwich Harbour on the next day, but it's been pouring rain every single day so far. So no idea if we're going to make it.Read more
