Jewish Heritage Tour of Budapest

Today we had an extensive tour of the Jewish Quarter in Budpest with an excellent guide and driver. We visited three synagogues, Holocaust Memorial, Jewish Museum, kosher stores, the Shoe Memorial, the Glass House, and even had time to stop for a tradtional Jewish sweet at a local bakery. We also visited a funky weekend farmers market that each night becomes a trendy bar area. Needless to say the day was filled with history and emotion.Läs mer
