We are in Bordeaux for two days and wanted to visit as many appellations as possible. We booked 4 tours with very tight connect times.
Our first tour was a visit to the Medoc area. We were excited to drive on the famous D2 wine road stopping at grand Chateaux. We had a guided tour of the vineyards and wine cellar at Chateau Siran. Our tasting of several great wines was accompanied by cheese and bread.
In the evening we went to the Classified Wine Chateau Haut Bailly located in the Pessac-Leognan appellation. After touring the vineyards and winery we had an elegant dinner in the Chateau with fantastic wines and food.Read more
