14 Stunden - das braucht es, wenn man gratis von Montpellier nach Hause fahren will. Rund 8-9 Stunden müsste man sowieso mit dem TGV rechnen, verlängert wird das ganze dadurch, dass ich auf der französischen Seite nur auf die TER-Regionalzüge zurückgreifen kann. Diese sind in meinem Railpass inbegriffen und somit kostenlos. Dass man dabei auch mal einen Zug mit defekter Klimaanlage bei über 35 Grad erwischt, ist Teil des Abenteuers.
Aber naja - der beste "Zug-Typ", den sie hier haben ist so oder so der "Graduit" 💶

14 hours - that's what it takes if you want to travel home from Montpellier for free. It would take around 8-9 hours by TGV anyway, but the whole journey is extended by the fact that I can only use the TER regional trains on the French side. These are included in my Railpass and are therefore free of charge. The fact that you sometimes catch a train with faulty air conditioning at over 35 degrees is part of the adventure.
