Discovering Oslo

Overnight to Oslo from Copenhagen was smooth and quiet. The Norse gods were watching over us. The journey was fascinating as we have not experienced this kind of ferry travel before - on a ferry equipped with four restaurants, a pool and day spa, games room, lounges and duty free stores! All this for a 17 hour journey! We arrived in Oslo - a city of contrasts - cold and dreary, building sites everywhere lending their grey dirt to the dull palette of the city. Yet a promise of sun and the city glistened and showed us her life. A quick trip by tram or bus and you see a Oslo in a whole new perspective.
