Ob ein Grenzübergang etwas über ein Land aussagen kann?
Auf der Simbabwe-Seite plaudern wir mit einem Immigration Officer, der sich für europäische Geschichte interessiert, und mit einem Polizisten, dem die Sicherheit der Touristen in seinem Land ein Anliegen ist. Seine Kollegen und er haben übrigens einen guten Job gemacht, wir haben uns in Simbabwe rundherum wohl gefühlt.
Auf der Seite von Mosambik fragt der Polizist am Schranken nach Geld, der Immigration Officer will 10$ extra für das Visum und das Computersystem funktioniert nicht, genauso wie der Bankomat, ....
TravelerExpect to be stopped many times in Moz, don’t speed ( unlikely in a Landrover 🤣 ) , make sure all your lights are working and don’t cross any solid road lines. They will show you the book with fines but they are all negotiable when you put the money in the book!! Don’t give them your passports as then you stuck!! Best beaches and fishing in Africa!!
