Overnight Train

We travelled down from Chiang Mai to Bangkok on the overnight sleeper train
This was an interesting experience, the train journey started off well, seats were comfortable and we ordered some dinner which was pretty tasty considering it was cooked on a train.
Then came the sleeping part.... Our seats were turned into beds at 8.30pm so an early night for us but the doors to the carriage kept sliding open so it just banged all night and the train ride was quite bumpy and they didn't turn off any of the lights. Anyway we arrived in Bangkok at 6.10am and saw the sunrise as we pulled into the station although we got very little sleep it is all part of the adventure.Lue lisää
