    Swimming Pool complex now disused. Was huge and popular in it's day.
    Main pool was absurdly huge!What an eclectic collection of historic museum pieces at this old pub and cafe. Coffee was great.The Clydesdale team...Fancy loos!Otira Crossing. Impressive overpass leaves nature undisturbed below.Superb piece of highway.Heritage railcar at Arthur's Pass train station. Dad would have stopped here en route to McFetridgesFirst glimpse of Akaroa harbour. Wow.

    Beautiful drive through the Alps from Ross to Akaroa. Arthur's Pass would have been a stop on Dad's train trip from Christchurch to McFetridge's in Greymouth.
