We picked up a waterfront tour while in San Diego. These pics from the first stop just a few hundred metres from our ship.
Hotel Coronado, San Diego

A grand old hotel, been here forever. In fact, Sheila stayed here 40 years ago! What a beautiful nostalgic building from yesteryear, still in use and still as good as it gets.

Just a mooch along the waterfront. Did a circle island tour last visit a decade ago. Much the same. Did find NZ Natural icecream, a 2 scoop cone was USD8. Erk! Dennis had a fall walking back to ship, Czytaj więcej

Sun came out, on cue. Mt Maunganui looks glorious, and Tauranga looks prosperous and bigger than it might othereise seem.
