    Thursday: View west from top of Blorenge. In the background is a huge slag heap from the Blaenavon Coal pit. Blorenge is composed of Millstone Grit. It marks the eastern end of the South Wales Coal field. In the photograph chunks of Millstone grit stone can be seen scattered on the ground just behind me.Read more
