Forest Coal pit end of day 9

    September 23, 2017 in Wales ⋅ 🌙 12 °C

Saturday: 4 miles / 1500ft of ascent from Abergavenny up Sugar Loaf and down to Forest Coal Pit completed after ninth day of walking. Warm sunshine all afternoon only cooled for last few hundred feet of ascent of Sugar Loaf by keen southerly wind. Cooked my first Wild supper of Bachelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce.Read more
