Saturday: My plan had been to walk down to Cae Adda campsite beside Llyn Trawsfynydd but it was becoming obvious this was too ambitious. Walked on half a mile from Clip to another Llyn Hywel where I considered a wild camp but a young couple were already there. I did not want to crowd them so walked on to the next lake - another Llyn Du (black lake), and pitched on excellent level grassy plot beside the footpath, 20 feet above the lake.Read more
