Morning Game Drive

You must book a morning game drive, unlike the regular afternoon excursion; this was done and we met our driver at 7:30 a.m. It was worth it too, because we now had the vehicle to ourselves and could ask the driver to stop for photography, if needed. Maybe it was this, or simply that morning drives are better, but we saw more animals and it seemed a much more worthwhile experience.

You can see from the photos that we saw quite a variety of animals, or maybe it was because I remembered to use my phone. It was quite cold at first, so my down jacket was a must.

Hopefully these few photos give you an idea of what happened, and I'm sure I have photos on my camera that are worth having.

At the end of the drive it was time for a welcomed breakfast and before we sat down we parked our cameras on a table. I think we all photographed them, like trophies I guess. Silly, but it had to be done.Read more
