    The big tank

    May 9, 2022 in Australia ⋅ 🌙 17 °C

Arrived at the big high tank full of confidence that was quickly lost once we started scoping the job. Very high and massive angles, this was going on to be tough and scary ( everyone else claimed to be scared of heights so on our own again and Christine feet never leave the ground )
Thankfully they had a visitors staying for the night and we became there entertainment.
Mick decided to get involved and work with Christine on the ground, he was a great help and made life so much better for us. They decided not to leave for 4 days, they wanted to see the tank up.
We did the last tank in roughly 15hrs work with just the 2 of us this tank took 4 hard days for 3 of us with 8 of us for the last 6hrs.
Everything to rebuild the top of the stand hD to be passed up in 4 stages.
There was a lot of engineering in this job with 13m slides, bracing and rased pullys
No one would help build confidence all saying its not going to work, we went with the "back yourself" and "fake it till you make it" theroy
Mick, Christine and I regiged our plan on the fly
And went for it. Everything worked just as planned
