Katherine

Katherine is such a busy place - it is the crossroad town for traffic in all directions, whether you’re heading to WA, Darwin, Down the middle or The Savannah Way into QLD. We have learnt to get to the supermarket early in the day before the grey nomads descend on the shopping precinct like swarms of hungry locusts! This year has been particularly busy on the road of course, creating headaches when lockdowns occur!

The Katherine Show was thankfully COVID-free and we had a great time sharing our work with locals and tourists! They were long, dusty days and nights but definitely worth it! Unfortunately battery issues meant we had little to no power despite plenty of sun so THAT was interesting. Thankfully we were able to get new batteries fitted after the show finished and were even able to get our water pump fixed as well. (Also thankful we made some good $$ at the show to cover the costs.). Our last night in Katherine was spent by the fire with a tune or two. #someonehastodoitLeggi altro
