I’ve made it Trinidad 🇹🇹!
It was a pretty smooth sail until the last few miles when the wind died and the current pushed me around too close to rocky shorelines for comfort.
More to come from the passage shortly.

Wonderful rest stop in Guyana Francais on the way to Trinidad. These islands are where the notorious prison is that Papillon spent 7 years in solitary confinement at. A place of so much suffering and death which is now a pleasant tourist attraction. I love to see the trees breaking out of the solitary cells.

4 hours of sleep in 48 hours is something I am not very comfortable with. A lack of wind and concern for unfavourable currents and land made this sail sleep depriving. 400 mile Standup Paddle from Vero Beach, Florida to Savanah, Georgia complete!
26 Total Days
18 Paddling Days
22 miles avg per day.
100s of dolphins, rays, jellies, and other fish.
30 + Manatees
14ft board
9 Gators
3 sharks
2 Raccoons
1 super beautiful coast.

Biking Through Georgia

300 mile bicycle to the trail for a walk. People always ask me if I was ever in big dangerous waves on the ocean. The most dangerous waves I have faced have come from motor vehicles. 😁. I appreciate the prayers for my safe ocean crossings but they are needed for the roads more than ever.
